“Go” : This sanskrit word has come to mean ‘cow’ in many Indian Languages. “Dhana” : Ususally means wealth.
At one time in India, a person’s wealth is determined by the number of cows they had. The word ‘Dana’ in Kannada which means cow – is really from Dhana (wealth) since Go was Dhana. (The Kauravas attempted a G0-Grahanam : Cow-Capturing on the Virata Kingdom to draw the Panadavas out of their incognito.)
In our advanced economy leading to recession, some rural French are investing their money on cows because it has an assured 4% rate of return on investment! GoDhana again!
