My grandmother used to tell me that Vishnu meditates on Siva and Siva meditates on Vishnu. In the Smartha Sandhya Vandanam they have to bow to Vishnu who is Siva and Siva who is Vishnu.
We owe this clip to Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayanam, which had established that Arun Govil was a perfect Maryaada Purushottam Rama.. and people used to see Rama in him and touch his feet when he was dressed as Rama!
