In the pictures you can see five numbered banyan trees., believed locally to be the Panchvati described in the Ramayanam. Near the first tree is Sita’s Guha. There is no description of Sita hiding in such a cave in the Valmiki Ramayanam, Gita Press.
The place itself is full of steps and tiny entrances to crawl through, so it has been modified and painted. Its fun to do it once. The real peace I felt was at Banyan tree number one where I sat incidentally guarding slippers. :)
