Current Affairs : Rajeev Chandrasekhar : To Table Jan Lokbal Bill in Rajya Sabha
I became curious about Rajeev Chandrasekhar, when I heard that he was going to table the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Rajya Sabha. Who was he?
He is an independent member of the Rajya Sabha and represents Bengaluru Urban District. (Members of Rajya Sabha are elected by the elected members of the Assemblies of States and Union territories in accordance with the system of proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote.)
On his site you can see Concern he voiced over the increasing interests of China in neighbouring countries. On his blog, titled “An Insider’s View of Indian Democracy” you can see his views on the lokpal bill and understand why he supports the Jan Lokpal Bill. You can see questions he has asked in the RS, answers that he has got.
