Dev Anand : Off to give Anand to Devas!
In the fraction of time that he was a dEHin, he entertained and impressed, all us other dEhins and made our hours worth living.
If giving joy to others is puNyam, I can guarantee that he made at least 4 generations of Indians very happy and glad to be alive.
May be Guide is the closest he came to making a philosophical work. I can’t think of anything else. But his philosophy of love and fun and music as portrayed through his work is a philosophy of Life. I love it!
And I remember the line always – Ram ka naam badnaam na karo – from Hare Krishna Hare Ram!
The dEvAs are tridas’as. They are forever 30. They are always one to enjoy good music and dance. I am sure our Dev Anand is a contribution to svarga that they will really enjoy!
