I like this lovely movie. But be warned, the tv-movie purANA kartAs, have not much in common with Veda Vyasa.
So you would have to verify with the sanskrit sources. That said, amar chitra katha also did a bit of editing.
And local legends or sthala purANAs also vary from place to place in some detail.
