The cit, the Atma, the paramAtma, has decided to turn all manas – es to itself.
The Bhagavad Gita is a message from the cit to the manas.
Manas – es are tricksy.
Some refuse to acknowledge the cit or that the cit is the Self, or the Self for that matter. They hold that there is no such thing.
Some say, Oh Bhagwaan, you are so great and I am so unworthy – how can I ever reach you. Let me play with samsAra.
Some say I want to be you, I am trying so hard to be one with you. But you see – I am me.
Every manas is being dragged ssa, against its will towards realisation, by the cit!
Only the gnyaanis instantly say ‘oh yes! I am the cit, the Atma, the dEhI! It makes sense.’
And interestingly, they have the finest minds!!
Hmmm! Some learn by precept. Some through experience. But no one has any choice!
