Effect of others on your chakrAs and breathing

Before this we have studied a little bit about tattvAs.

A person naturally goes up and down the five – tattva – chakrAs for different durations in each hour.

Sometimes greedy, sometimes compassionate, sometimes restless, sometimes peaceful and so on. : Refresh : Tantra Yoga : Chakras and Rebirth

Another thing I have observed is that someone of a powerful lower chakra can disturb someone of a higher chakra and a person of a higher chakra can calm someone of a lower chakra.

For example a fearful or greedy person can make a peaceful person scared and insecure. And an illumined person can make a scared person calm!

You can see that your breathing is altered in the presence of Kunda Devi, a temple, and knowledgeable person, a social activist, a selfish person etc.

Your breathing around a calm or enlightened person is slow, deep and relaxed. Similarly in natural places, calm temples etc.

Your breathing in the presence of an insecure, selfish, greedy, exploitative person will be shallow and laboured.

To give a very unconventional and strange cooked-up example :

An earth tattva can muddy a water tattva. A water tattva can put out a fire tattva. A fire tattva can burn up an air tattva. An air tattva can fill up an AkAs’a tattva.

If you are in samsAra and deal with a lot of people, then you might be going up and down, not in your natural cycle but forced  to do so out of synch by all the people you come in contact with.

sAdhakAs are people who embrace solitude and breath control so that they elevate themselves for most of the time. High order yOgIs don’t even leave that state to eat and some bring their breathing down to near nothing.

But you would have seen gurujis and swamijIs and buddhAs happily mingling with people at large. They have reached a state beyond the tattvAs.

In future post let us discuss a tattvAtIta cakra – a Chakra beyond the tattvAs, which cannot be impacted by the lower chakra.
