A cursory browse regarding the crusades indicated that people were fighting for the holy land of jerusalem. from around 500 years after Mohammad till, well, today actually.
Jerusalem has changed hands back and forth from around 1000 AD (maybe earlier too) and being a place of pilgrimage for christians, jews and muslims, there have been clashes, massacres and wars.
So the conflict over ayOdhya and amarnAth is neither new nor surprising, nor is it likely to get resolved in a hurry or to stay resolved for any finite duration.
While the jews and christians sometimes team up, it is is generally a multi-pronged contest with no long term allies. In any case there does not appear to be any international support for Indian Hindus. So we rely on divine help!!
