Charaka (caraka)
Ambient knowledge says that Charaka was an Ancient Indian Surgeon, Ambient knowledge needs to be explored and studied. He is the author of caraka samhita, a textbook of ayurvedic medicine. The Legacy of Caraka by M.S. Valiathan is a very helpful book to understand the work of Charaka.
