Pleased with “Uncluttering My Life” Book

nirata cintana : deep, engaged, unbroken contemplation : is tapas

Whether it is play, a lover, a cause, research …., there are times in life when we think about only one thing. Sometimes people call it obsession – it may look like that from the outside.

Kunda Guruji says that nirata cintana itself is tapas.

For some people the object of their nirata cintana is the brahman.

Radha Kripa on Chaitra Purnima.

Today, I discovered a Gundanjaneya temple in Sahakarnagar, near Kodigehalli Gate and was rather thrilled about it.

However my Hanuman was hiding behind a screen getting decorated. I met some Hyderabadis outside who explained that in Bangalore, Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated in December, whereas in North India and Hyderabad it was today. One person even argued that Hanuman would never choose a birthday in December when Rama navami was in April (Chaitra Suddha Navami).

Though I did not have the anticipated Darsan of Hanuman, I met two charming young men Manish and Rupesh selling Bhagavad Gita CDS and books outside the temple. They were from Madhya Pradesh and had expected a huge crowd for Hanuman Jayanti :) .

I asked all about them as is my wont and they had some unplanned free time so they told me that they were from an organisation that they themselves had started with along with Rupesh’s brother-in-law. This organisation is http://radhakripa.com/.

They have eSatsangs, photos, a radio station, articles and what have you. At present this is an all Hindi site but they are looking to add other languages, as they find volunteers to help.

It is the first time I have seen a pure Radha society and I consider myself rather blessed to hear about Krishna’s sakhi on such an auspicious day.

So if you want to look at beautiful pictures like the one above and read up about Radha Rani and interact with Radha devotees.. do go take a look at their site. Jai Radha Krishna!
