Fenugreek: Menthulu: Methi: Nutrition Facts

Called menthulu (telugu), menthiya (kannada), methi (hindi).., fenugreek is an iron rich, cholestrol and blood sugar reducing spice used to season vegetables, fruit and lentils in Andhra, Karnataka and Rajasthan (and probably many other places I dont know about).

It is bitter. So you can add a dash of it to most dishes you cook, to increase the quantity consumed and not to eat all that bitterness in a single dish.

Home Remedy : Fenugreek seeds soaked in curds (yogurt) is a binder and will stop loose motions.
